This is what the kids were into doing this afternoon. They got these beautiful scraping pictures for christmas and decided they finally want to work with them. It requires nothing more than a scraping knife and a little wet towel to wipe the picture clean every once in a while. It was all quiet at the table as both kids concentrated on their work, being all into what they did. So nice to see the two this way while I was just around them ready to help when they asked me for it.

Heute Nachmittag waren Kratzbilder angesagt. Diese Weihnachtsgeschenke der Kinder haben wir dann heute endlich ausgepackt und angefangen damit zu arbeiten. Man braucht ausser dem Bild nur ein Kratzmesser und ein nasses Tuch um das Bild zwischendurch mal abzuwischen. Die beiden waren so konzentriert bei der Arbeit dass man kaum einen Mucks gehört hat während sie arbeiteten. Es war so schön für mich zu sehen wie vertieft Mumpel und Rob waren während ich mich nur in der Nähe aufgehalten habe um zu helfen wenn ich darum gebeten wurde.
