Nordsee - North Sea

Heute habe ich jede Menge Bilder von der Nordsee für Euch, wir haben uns nämlich vor Kurzem eine kleine Auszeit gegönnt ein paar Tage am Wattenmeer verbracht. 

 

Today I have quite a few pictures from the North Sea for you. We took a trip to the Wadden Sea just to get out for a couple of days. 

 

 

 

Der Leuchtturm steht auf dem Deich, dahinter ist ein kleines Wäldchen und vorne fangen die endlosen Salzwiesen an, die zum Strand führen. 

 

This Lighthouse stands in front of a little forest. In the other way the salt meadows begin that lead to the beach. 

 

 

 

 

Cookie war natürlich auch mit und damit ihr nicht kalt wird, hatte sie einen Strickpulli an. 

Of course Cookie was with us, wearing a cardigan so she wouldn't freeze.

Wir hatten Glück und immerhin ein paar sonnige Tage.

We were lucky to have at least a couple sunny days. 

 

 

 

Nach allem, was dieses Jahr so passiert ist, mussten wir dringend mal einen Ortswechsel haben. 

After all that happened this year we needed a break from every day life. 

Nach längerem Spaziergang taucht hinter den Salzwiesen endlich das Meer auf. 

After a rather long walk through the salt meadows we finally reach the sand and the ocean. 

 

 

 

 

In diesen Pfahlbauten am Strand befinden sich Restaurants. Man konnte sogar draußen sitzen, es gab Heizstrahler, damit es nicht so kalt war. 

 

These houses in the sand are restaurants and we were even able to sit outside without getting cold as they had heaters all over the porch.

Mumpel war am Strand reiten und fand es toll. Das ist Andy. 

Mumpel did horseback riding at the beach and loved it. 

 

 

 

 

Ein Mädchentraum ist in Erfüllung gegangen und sie hat auch noch so ein wahnsinniges Glück mit dem Wetter gehabt. Die Sonne schien und es gab weniger Wind als die Tage davor. Zwei Stunden lang sind sie am Strand durchs Wasser geritten - meistens galloppiert, was natürlich am meisten Spaß macht. :-)

A dream came true and she even was so very lucky with the weather. On that day the sun was shining and there was almost no wind. For two hours they were riding at the beach and most of the time did galloping which is of course the most fun!!
